Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to me. This policy sets out how Sarah Ludford – Connect with Compassion uses and protects any information that you provide when you use this website or when we meet face to face for coaching and training. This policy was updated on June 8th 2018
What types of data we collect
In most cases we only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information. This can include name, address, email and phone number. In some cases we keep case notes including details of issues you have told us about and we have supported you with.
Why we need your data
We need to know your basic personal data in order to keep you updated with information about courses and events, to respond to your enquiries, take bookings and provide services as described on the website. We also need your data to maintain our own accounts and records. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee the service we provide to you.
What we do with your data
We use a variety of platforms for web hosting and managing data and some of these use servers outside of the European Union. All these platforms have their own privacy policies and security measures that comply with current UK Legislation. For the purpose of processing (administration support) we sometimes share data with Adminbytes with whom we have a confidentiality and data processing agreement.

123-reg (web hosting), Mailchimp (mailing list), Helm Tickets (course booking), Wave (accounting and invoicing), Paypal (booking deposits), Google (information collection and storage), Dropbox (storage). Hubspot (Customer database)
How long we keep your data
When you make an enquiry with us we will keep your information for six months after our last communication. If you make a booking with us and we provide services such as training, one to one work, mediation or bespoke packages we will keep your information for seven years, for our records.
The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept and used for this purpose until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. No marketing is sent without first gaining consent.
What are your rights
If at any point you believe the information we hold on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. We may not agree to delete your information if we have a reason to retain it for record keeping or legal reasons. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated by emailing sarahbolera17@gmail.com
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe the way we are processing your personal data is not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office https://ico.org.uk/
